PinPoint for Hyperion Enterprise

PinPoint® for Hyperion Enterprise® is a software application used exclusively with Oracle's Hyperion Enterprise® 5.5 or higher by administrators, advanced users and consultants.  PinPoint facilitates analysis of your application's metadata by utilizing pre-defined reports combined with various selection criteria options to isolate needed information. By having this information easily available in a readable format, you can quickly identify issues with your application setup - improving the accuracy of the final output.

Pricing Details

PinPoint® is sold by Company with unlimited users.  There are two ways to purchase:

  • Annual License: One fee to be paid on an annual basis.
     
  • Perpetual License: One fee for the life of the product.

There are no additional maintenance or support fees with either plan.

Upgrade Information

  • Minor Release: Critical defect modifications. There will be no charge for minor releases.
     
  • Major Release: Enhancements/feature requests, minor defect modifications. There will be a charge for major releases, to be determined at the time of release.

Support Information

  • Installation Support: PinPoint is a standard Microsoft Windows® application that can be installed in a matter of minutes. The only requirement (for the automated Enterprise extract functionality) is for PinPoint to be installed on a machine (workstation, server, etc.) that has the Enterprise client-side software already installed. However, PinPoint can be used outside of the required configuration by loading manually extracted Enterprise applications. No consulting is required for installation.
     
  • Ongoing Support: Ethx® provides a tool called SoloBug™ that provides the ability to submit questions/issues/enhancements/feature requests via email. This tool is documented in the Support Manual which is provided in electronic format with PinPoint. All SoloBug submissions – which are free-of-charge - will be responded to in a timely manner.
